Commercial Loan Broker Association

The Commercial Loan Broker Association (CLBA) is a recently formed industry association in the United States dedicated to education, professional development, and networking for commercial loan brokers, lenders, banks, and other service providers in the commercial lending industry. CLBA was founded to fill a recognized gap in the industry by creating a dedicated conference and community for brokers, lenders, and vendors to make meaningful connections and share knowledge about the deal process. The association centers its mission on educating brokers and helping them successfully convert borrower leads into funded transactions, with a longer-term goal of building toward a certification program known as the Commercial Loan Broker Academy. CLBA hosts an annual conference and expo that brings together several hundred industry professionals for general sessions, breakout sessions, an exhibit hall, and networking events, supplemented by weekly webinars and other member resources throughout the year. The association is guided by an internally selected Leadership Council intended to reflect exceptional success and ethical standards within the commercial lending profession.
