About International Astronautical Federation
The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is the world's leading space advocacy body, established in 1950, with over 400 members in more than 70 countries. Headquartered in Paris, France, the IAF unites the global space community through the annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the world's largest space event, which convenes thousands of space professionals each year. The Federation promotes the peaceful use of outer space, advances space science and technology, and represents the global space community before international institutions and the general public.
