About National Science Teachers Association (NSTA)
National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), founded in 1944 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is the largest organization in the world committed to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning. With approximately 40,000 members including science teachers, science supervisors, administrators, scientists, and business and industry professionals, NSTA hosts the annual NSTA National Conference on Science Education, one of the largest science education gatherings in the world, along with regional conferences and area conferences throughout the year. NSTA also publishes journals, books, and digital resources serving science educators from elementary through college level across the United States and internationally.
