VivaTech

VivaTech (Viva Technology), founded in 2016 and headquartered in Paris, is Europe's biggest startup and technology event, organized through a partnership including Les Echos Solutions SAS and affiliated media and communications entities. The event accelerates innovation by connecting startups, tech leaders, major corporations, and investors working to address some of the world's biggest challenges, with 75 percent of attendees holding C-level executive positions. Held annually at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles over four days, VivaTech has grown dramatically since its founding, expanding from 45,000 visitors in 2016 to 180,000 visitors in its most recent edition, alongside more than 15,000 startups and 4,000 investors participating in conferences and demonstrations covering topics such as artificial intelligence, deep tech, cybersecurity, energy, mobility, and sustainable innovation. For its 10th anniversary edition in 2026, VivaTech is expanding beyond the exhibition center with Wide on the Champs-Elysées, a free, immersive outdoor event featuring robots, drones, and AI demonstrations for the general public. The event is led by Managing Director François Bitouzet and attracts thousands of international journalists from leading global media outlets, alongside influential business leaders and technology pioneers as featured speakers.
