Abilities Expo, founded in 1979, is the nation's leading event for people with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Acquired by UK-based Raccoon Media Group in January 2024, the expo pops up in seven major US cities each year including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, Orlando, and Houston, attracting more than 30,000 annual attendees. Each free, three-day event features adaptive sports, assistive technology, educational workshops, and hundreds of exhibitors showcasing products and services for multiple disabilities. Abilities Expo connects the disability community with cutting-edge technology, daily living aids, and resources for empowerment and independence.
