About National Scrabble Association of Liberia (NASAL) and Pan African Scrabble Association (PANASA)
The National Scrabble Association of Liberia (NASAL) and the Pan African Scrabble Association (PANASA) jointly organize Scrabble events across Africa. PANASA, established in 1994, serves as the official governing body for Scrabble across the continent, with member federations competing in global tournaments. NASAL, under the leadership of President Lester T. Morris, has launched competitions such as Scrabble Mania and the Royal Series. Together they are hosting the 2026 African Scrabble Championship in Monrovia, Liberia.
